What up, Everyone?

Dunn’s Bridge

Hello, It’s been a while since I’ve posted. I spent 3 weeks in the States with family and friends and it took about a week for my sleep pattern to return to normal. It was a long trip and I’m glad to be back home.

Before leaving for the States, my husband and I found a house to rent long-term, not far from where we live. It’s been 24-years since I’ve lived in a house. I guess I took my childhood home for granted.

The house is built into the hill and it’s up high. I’m so excited about moving because there is a yard for Shakespeare, and enough room for guests or anyone wanting to crash for the evening. We have a nice size deck for barbecuing and sitting out to enjoy the view of the neighborhood and hills. We’re within walking distance to a castle ruin, church, lake, and forest; all places we are looking forward to exploring. Plus, there is a little grocery store and bakery down the road. I’ll definitely be getting a workout because the streets are steep.

Now that I’m back, we’re looking into DIY projects and going through drawers to get rid of anything that’s clung to us far too long. We’re moving mid-August.

I hope to post more. I have neglected both writing and reading. But since we have more room, I plan to get a little writing desk and a big bean bag for reading. 😀

Any suggestions and ideas for DIY projects, where to shop, and grills are all welcome.

House and Yard,
