I am a Chicago native pulled from the shackles of a 9 to 5 job, and wound up in a small town in Germany to follow my writing dreams.
As Gwendolyn Brooks said, “Writing is a delicious agony.”
A multi-genre author, wife, and mother of a furry one, I leaped over the big pond into another culture. My writing ideas come from living life. Germany has opened my eyes to cooking, baking, gardening, and road trips, but not necessarily in that order.
“How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live.” Henry David Thoreau.
I’ve not only published a few novels, but my short stories appear in several anthologies, and I have a few poems published in the online magazine Danse Macabre.
Aside from reading and writing, much of my time is spent with my husband and our dog, Shakespeare. He doesn’t recite sonnets, but he has a beautiful howl when listening to opera.
